Chelsea midfielder, Willian Borges da Silva, popularly known as Willian, has completed a move to Arsenal after the expiration of his contract.
He first played for Shakhtar Donetsk when he moved to Europe.
The 32 year old played 47 games for the London side last season, netting 9 goals.
David Beckham’s newly formed club, Inter Miami and Spanish giants, Barcelona were also interested in the Brazilian forward, aside Arsenal.

When Willian first came to England, and to London, it was to sign for Tottenham Hotspur, but instead went on to sign for Chelsea. 7 years, 234 games, and 37 goals later, he has again moved to another London side that is not Tottenham.
Mikel Arteta, Arsenals manager who beat Willians former side, Chelsea in the FA Cup final some weeks ago, said, “We have been monitoring him for the past few months, we had a clear intention to strengthen in the attacking midfielder and the winger positions [and] he is a player that gives us a lot of versatility, he can play in three or four different positions.”
