Nigerians Label Alison-Madueke a Hypocrite for Her Comments About Yahoo Boys

Following her comments at an event organised by Ijaw National Development Group, where she said that Yahoo Boys or internet fraudsters are now seen as role models in Nigeria, former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke has come under attack on social media.

Switch Nigeria had reported that Diezani said, “The ones that have swag, the Yahoo Yahoo boys as my son would say; these in short, are the role models they are looking at. These are the ones that reinforce negative societal norms and values.”

The former Minister who is under investigation for charges of corruption and embezzlement stirred alot of backlash against her.
