The Lebanese government is set to be dissolved following the tendering in of resignation by the Prime Minister Hassan Daab.
The unprecedented move comes in the awake of last week’s Beirut explosion that killed over 200 and injuring a lot more.
Protesters have taken to the streets for days now, demanding the dissolution of government over incompetence.
The news of the resignation was first announced by the country’s health Minister Hamad Hassan, while talking to reporters.
The outgoing Prime Minister is set to address the nation at 7:30pm local time.
