Popular Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, has been apprehended by the Lagos State Police Division for violating the Federal Government’s regulations on lockdown.
The musician was accused of holding a concert in Abuja, of boarding a plane at a time the Federal ruled against such, and also for mingling with people in a group of more than 20 persons.
This is not the first time Marley has fallen into the hands of the law. Months back, he was arrested for attending a birthday bash organised by actress and comedian, Funke Akindele.
Lagos State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, confirmed that Naira Marley was arraigned in court for the offence.
He said, “We are in court as we speak. He will be arraigned for violating the interstate travel order. That is the aspect that concerns Lagos State.”
