President Muhammadu Buhari has said there has been a wanton abuse of trust by his political appointees currently serving in his administration.
The president said this after the Eid prayers, held at the courtyard of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where he, his household and staff carried out the religious ceremony.
Buhari went on to say that he was determined to bring all present and past corruption cases under the radar of the law.
“On the issue of corruption, all past and present cases will be fully investigated.
“This is why we put the commission (of investigation) in place. There has been abuse of trust by people trusted by the previous administration and this administration,” he said.
