Videos: Ooni Features in Mr Macaroni Skit, Ignites Excitement on Social Media

The Ooni of Ife in the morning and afternoon of Saturday 18th July 2020 trended on the social media after videos of him appearing in a skit by Debo Adedayo aka Mr Macaroni were shared. In the comedy video, the first-class chief was passing a message of adherence to the tradition of curtsy to older people, and the virtue in hardwork.

Mr Macaroni has garnered hundreds of thousands of fans who delight in his rich-womaniser themed comedy videos, captivating many with his relatable, down-to-earth, urban Yoruba accented video skits.

The Ooni was later seen in other behind the scenes videos making jokes with the comedian and his media team, while another video showed him blessing Debo Adedayo.

Nigeria is renown for producing talented comedians who cut a niche for themselves by sticking to their particular gift or calling. Other new comedians making waves have continued to emerge. Among these comediennes and comedians are Elizabeth Ọmọ Ibadan, Lasisi Elenu, Mark Angel, Aunty Dami (Adeherself) who was recently arrested and charged to court and is now facing trial, the Triple Brothers, Woli Àgbà, and so on.
