Saturday, July 4th, 2020, was supposed to be a day of celebration for the family of Tushima, but it rather turned tragic as their Daughter, Miss Deborah Tushima, whose birthday was on the said date, slumped on the dance floor during the party, and was later confirmed dead in a hospital.

The birthday party which was organized in a hotel in Makurdi, the Benue State Capital, had many of her friends in attendance.

Earlier that day, Deborah had updated her facebook status, thanking God for the gift of life, asking her friends to say a word of prayer for her on her special day.

In one of the videos on her facebook page, the young makeup artist was given an iPhone 11 as a birthday present during the birthday party, which was accompanied with a lot of cheers from the attendees.

The microbiologist undergraduate of the Benue State University, sources said started vomiting blood after she slumped on the dance floor.

There are also unconfirmed reports alleged to have emanated from the family that, the late Deborah had some underlining health issues that made her slump and faint often. Therefore, it might have been the fatal stage of it been triggered at the party, and not necessarily some poisoned drinks.

There are also alleged reports that she must have been poisoned during the party because of jealousy, but that has not been proven as the family is yet to carryout an autopsy, which according to sources, has been slated for today (Monday).

The cause of her death is now dependent on the outcome of the autopsy, as there are too many alleged reports as to what could have been responsible for the death of the pretty young lady.
