A new Coronavirus (COVID-19) death has been recorded in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The disclosure was made by the FCTA on its twitter handle on Friday.

According to the tweet, 85 new cases of the disease were also recorded in the city.

By this, the total of infections in the territory has risen to 2,020.

Nigeria on the whole, has recorded a total of 27,110 confirmed COVID-19 cases as on Thursday night.

As of Friday afternoon the country has recorded 10,801 recoveries and 616 deaths.
