Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is currently holding a virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting with ministers.
The meeting, which is the sixth sessions since the Coronavirus pandemic broke out, is in compliance with the virus safety protocols.
Safety measures were being put in place since March by the Federal Government.
In keeping with the safety guidelines, only ministers with memos to present for deliberations attend the meeting physically, while the majority of cabinet members link up from their different locations.

About seven ministers with memos to present are at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, for the meeting.
They include the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami; Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed; Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fasola; Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed; Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika; Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman Adamu; and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello.
Details of discussions at the closed-door meeting will be out later in the day.
