A block of apartments, housing staff of the Nigerian High Commission in Accra, Ghana, has been demolished by some unknown gunmen.
The incident took place on Friday night, with sources saying that the assailants used bulldozers in bringing the structure down.
It was learnt that the building was being constructed to house staff and visiting diplomats to the High Commission.
According to sources, the police stood and watched from a distance, as the men tore the building apart. It was later learned that a businessman had claimed that the structure was built on his land, as he presented some papers as evidence.
