Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State on Wednesday swore in Muhammad Kabir Abubakar as the Ag. Grand Khadi Shari’a Court of Appeal in the state and Isma’il Ibrahim Danladi as the new Permanent Secretary and Solicitor General, Ministry of Justice.
Speaking at the ceremony at the Executive Chambers of the Government House, Masari said that a strong and progressive judicial system would help to promote good governance and socio-economic growth of Katsina.
He said that his administration requires the support of the judiciary to make the society a viable and vibrant one.
The governor further said that a strong and reliable judicial system would protect the rights of citizens and promote economic growth.
He called on the new acting grand Khadi and the new solicitor general permanent secretary to work deligently and with fear of God in their dealings.
