An unnamed police man allegedly shot and killed some of his colleagues in Lagos on Sunday, reports have said.
Sources said that the officer who, along with his victims, have been attached to the Federal Inland Revenue Service in Onikan area of Lagos, started shooting at his fellow officers after an argument took another turn.
It was gathered that he could be heard uttering incoherent words, while carrying out the act, making many to believe that he has a mental issue.
Shortly after that, he hopped into the patrol vehicle that was around there and drove off to Akoka, a place in Yaba, where around 5pm, where he again opened fire on residents in the area.
At least 30 bullet holes could be seen in the buildings around.
Mr. Baka Elkana, who is the Lagos State Police Public Relations, said that the matter was still being investigated.
