The four Minnesota Police Officers who were involved in the incident that lead to the death of a black man identified as George Floyd have been dismissed from thier duties .
Floyd according to the BBC died after a disturbing video emerged on social media showing a police officer with his knee on the neck of the deceased.
In the video floyd was seen to have repeatedly yelled out, “I can’t breathe.” while a police officer pined him to the ground.
After the incident Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo on Tuesday morning said the officers involved have been placed on paid leave but in a later tweet confirmed their dismissal from the force.
Meanwhile reacting to their dismissal Twitter users protested saying termination was not enough punishment for the officers.
