A video has surfaced courtesy of Tracka showing a woman complaining that they were not being attended while parents of private school pupils come and get attended by the distribution team.
The incident happened somewhere in the FCT. The lady claimed that they have been to the collection centre for two days yet they were not attended to. Meanwhile, well-to-do parents of private school pupils will come and get attended to instantly.

This has vindicated the fears of many citizens that the exercise could be corrupted by people bent on involving in sharp practices. Recall that in oio report on the 13 facts to note about the Programme, the FG said she will be involved in providing the funds and items while the state governments will be saddled with the responsibility of the distribution aspect. In this case, the FCTA is the one responsible for distribution in the FCT.
According to Tracka, “she said they didn’t give them card even though she came to line up all day. That they now saw people who’s children are in private schools that came and were attended to while they were not attended to.”
The matter has been taken up by the relevant authorities for thorough investigation. People are enjoined to help scrutinise the exercise if it is happening close to them. The target for the exercise are children of those identified as very poor, as well as pupils of selected primary schools ranging from primary one to primary three.
