Lagos State may be getting over the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as it on Saturday, discharged Sixty seven of patients,suffering from the virus, who had been receiving treatment at different isolation centres in the state.
The patients were discharged after repeated tests carried out on them showed negative, a proof they have overcome the disease.
The discharged patients include 64 Nigerians and 3 foreign nationals – 2 Indians and a Chinese.
According to reports, the patients, 24 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 22 from Onikan, 11 from Agidingbi, 2 from Lekki and 8 from LUTH isolation centres were allowed to reunite with their families.
With this, the number of discharged patients has risen to 608.
Lagos is the epicentre of the Coronavirus in Nigeria, having 2,278 of the total 5,445 cases recorded in the country.
