Nigeria’s Coronavirus Cases Maintain Shoot Upward, With 239 New Infections

Nigeria has recorded 239 new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, maintaining a steady shoot upward in the number of new infections.

With this, the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria climbed to 4,151, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control disclosed on its Twitter handle on Saturday.

The agency said Lagos maintained its lead position, adding 97 cases.

NCDC said 745 cases have recovered, while 128 deaths have been recorded.
