Poor Nigerians Will Soon Revolt, Senator Dino Melaye Warns Nigerian Leaders

Dino Melaye, the Former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial Zone under the aegis of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a warning to the Nigerian elite occupying leadership positions in the country that the poor masses will soon revolt violently.

Dino said this on his Twitter handle, warning Nigerians leaders to act now in heeding the cries of the poor and oppressed or risk being invaded.

His post read: “It is time to listen to the poor, have not, marginalized and oppressed Nigerians.

“We the ruling class must do something before something do us.

“Housing segregation put us the elites at jeopardy; Ikoyi, Banana Island, Maitama, Asokoro etc.

“Our leaders including me beware of violent revolution, perilous Times loading.”

Fears have risen in recent times as talk of deductions both in the private and public sectors have gone abroad. This will particularly weigh heavily on the middle and lower class as their current salaries are already not enough for their upkeep.
