Newcastle’s prospective owners have revealed that former Spurs manager, Mauricio Pochettino as a potential manager for the club and are willing to pay him £19 million per week.
Pochettino who has been out of work since November last year, after he was sacked by Tottenham, could replace the incumbent manager, Steve Bruce.
Former Newcastle United defender , Warren Barton has suggested that the club’s new owners should sign Mauricio Pochettino, considering his impressive build in his five-year spell as manager at Tottenham Hotspur.
The likelihood is that the Argentine would take charge once the season has concluded.
Pochettino led Tottenham to last year’s UEFA Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitan in Spain before losing 2:0 to Liverpool.
