Despite the lingering COVID-19 crisis and the impending lockdown in the country, Edo University Iyamho, has announced that it would commence its second semester for 2019/2020 academic session.
The university made this known through a statement issued by the registrar, Dr. Isoken Ogboro. The registrar said that academic activities for the second semester would commence online on its Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and on Academic Information System of Edo University Iyamho, so as students may not be slowed down because of the lockdown.
Edo University was the first in the country to introduce LMS in Nigeria.
Mrs. Ogboro said that students’ course registration would start on Monday April 27, 2020 through the AIS/LMS platform while the second semester academic lectures would begin on Monday May 4, 2020.
The statement further advised all the students to visit the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and Edo University Iyamho’s Academic Information Systems (AIS) platform to start the academic activities as stipulated.
