Kano State has recorded 38 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total of confirmed cases to 115.
This was disclosed in a tweet on the handle of the state ministry of health on Wednesday morning.
According to the tweet, 3 deaths have been recorded.
The tweet reads: “#COVID19KN Update as at 1:20am 29th April 2020.
“38 New #COVID19 cases confirmed.
“Total confirmed cases in @KanostateNg are now 115. COVID-19 deaths were recorded.”
The tweet also urged residents to stay at home in order to break the chain of transmission.
The state government on its part, has since declared two weeks lockdown in the state as a measure to curtail spread of the disease.
