Nigeria’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases has hit 1728, following the confirmation of 196 new infections by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)
In a tweet on its handle on Wednesday night, NCDC said the new cases are as follows in the following states: 87-Lagos, 24-Kano, 18-Gombe,17-Kaduna, 16-FCT, 10-Katsina, 8-Sokoto, 7-Edo, 6-Borno, 1-Yobe, 1-Ebonyi and 1-Adamawa
The tweet reads: “196 new cases of COVID-19 reported;
“As at 11:55pm 29th April- 1728 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria.”
A total of 307 persons have so far been treated and discharged, while 51 persons have died from the virus.
