COVID-19: Buhari to Address Nigerians on Monday Night

President Muhammadu Buhari, will address the nation by 8pm on Monday, April 27th, 2020.

This is contained in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina.

He enjoined Television, radio and other electronic media stations to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.

Recall that the president had in his last address to the nation, extended the lockdown order in Lagos, FTC and Ogun State, as a measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus in those states.

During the address, the President is expected to either relax the order or increase it further. He is also expected to talk on the demands already forwarded to him by the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF), one of which is the closure of the 36 states borders for a period of two weeks.
