Kaduna Sets Up Mobile Courts To Try Violators Of Coronavirus Lockdown Order

The government of Kaduna State has set up mobile courts to try violators of the lockdown order in a bid to curtail the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state.

According to a facebook statement on Friday by the state Commissioner for Internal Security, Samuel Aruwan, Senior Magistrates have been assigned to head 8 mobile courts within Kaduna and environs with immediate effect in these locations: Kawo, Rigacikun, Maraban Rido and Gabasawa.

Other locations include Kakuri, Rigasa, Magajin Gari and Sabon Tasha.

Kaduna currently has 9 confirmed cases of the disease in the state.

The state Governor, Nasir Elrufai, a few days ago, recovered from the disease after battling with it for some weeks.
