Nigeria is far behind on Africa’s list of COVID-19 tests conducted.
On the continent, Africa’s most populous country sits in 10th as only 35 people are tested per 1 million people.

With a population of 58 million people, the South African nation tests an average of 1,800 people per 1 million and have since conducted more than a 100, 000 tests.
Nigeria, on the other hand has only conducted a meager 7,000 tests so far. One could only hope that the virus is not present in the number of those yet to be tested.
