Reports just reaching Switch Nigeria says the second COVID-19 patient in Rivers State will soon be discharged.

The State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, made this known in a press conference at the Government House on Friday.

He said: “The second case which was recorded and taken to the treatment center has now tested negative and will be discharged this morning, thanks to God for His mercy.”

The governor also commended health officials and security operatives for the success in containing the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
