NCDC Confirms 11 New COVID-19 Cases In Lagos, Now 373 Cases In Nigeria

The Nigerian Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday confirmed eleven (11) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Lagos State, making a total of 373 cases in the country.

NCDC made the confirmation in a tweet on its handle.

The centre had earlier confirmed 19 new cases of the disease.

But the latest tweet reads “Eleven new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Lagos State.

“As at 11:00 pm 14th April there are 373 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 99 have been discharged with 11 deaths”

A breakdown of cases of the virus show Lagos – 214, FCT- 58, Osun- 20, Edo- 16, Oyo- 11, Ogun- 9, Bauchi- 6 and Kaduna- 6.

Others include Akwa Ibom- 5, Katsina-5, Kwara- 4, Kano- 4, Ondo- 3,Delta- 3, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers-2, Benue- 1, Niger- 1 and Anambra- 1.
