Three Men Arrested In Osun for Possession of Female Pants

A Magistrate Court in Ile Ife, have arraigned three men for possessing used female underwear.

The three accused men, Odelola Olawuyi, Ajayi Damilare, and Toheeb Elugbaju — were caught with the pants and they allegedly failed to give convincing explanation on how they came about them.

According to the prosecuting officer, Emmanuel Abdullahi, the men committed the crime between 6th and 7th of April, 2020 in Ile Ife, while hinting that they also disobeyed the Osun State Government’s stay-at-home order.

He said, “The offences contravened Sections 17 (11) of the Quarantine Act Q2 Laws of the Federation, 2004, Public Health Law, Cap 135, Laws of Osun, 2002.”

In their defence, the defence attorney, Mr Leke Dada, pleaded with the court to grant the defendants bail.
The magistrate, Joseph Owolawi, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum.
He adjourned till May 15, 2020 for hearing.
