7 Suspected Coronavirus Patients Escape Osun Isolation Centre

SIX persons, suspected to have tested positive for COVID-19 have escaped from Gedu Isolation Centre, Ejigbo, thereby throwing Osun State residents into panic.

According to an unofficial public announcement, the state has launched manhunt for the 7 persons who escaped from the isolation centre on Friday night.

The names and phone numbers of the 7 infected persons were included in the announcement as:
1. LAWAL Waliyulah, Masifa Ejigbo.

2. LASISI Murafat, Olugbodi’s compd Ejigbo, +22505368845;

3. Ganiyat Alabi.08075441187;

4. Yusuff Afees, Ile Alawe, Ejigbo.

5. Isola Abibat, Ile Olori, Ejigbo. 08055905010;

6. Nua Oyeleye, Ile Jesu, Oguro Ejigbo, 08109375276 and,

7. Juel Olasupo, Ile Baale Ejigbo, 08149584397.

However, when the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Ismail Omipidan was contacted on phone, his line was not reachable as at the time of filing this report.
