A crowd of passengers, numbering more than 100 people were on Sunday stranded across many parks in Sokoto State, notably Tashar Alu, which is owned by Sokoto State Transport Authority (SSTA).

This was due to the Coronavirus pandemic which has resulted in the closure of schools and many other activities like the NYSC, by the Federal Government.

Most of the stranded people were students of higher institutions and corp members.
