The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has commenced indefinite strike over non-implementation of 2019 MoU and Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System (IPPIS) saga.

The National Chairman of ASUU, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja on Monday.

Prof. Biodun said that the union resolved to embark on indefinite strike because the Federal Government failed to meet the union’s demands during the warning strike.

Recall that the union embarked on Waring strike on 9 March over the same issues.
