The proprietor made the gesture of scholarship known during the matriculation ceremony of the very first intakes in the school.
He stated amongst other things in his speech that, “I’ve always felt I should impact the community, people, the less privileged and all; I think this is one in a million chances that I have got to give hope to the hopeless, to create a platform for not just education, but to develop skills in our youth so they can be self-reliant even when they choose to further their education.
“I want to announce to you that 480 of the students matriculating today are on my scholarship. We have also subsidised the tuition fees to be among the cheapest in the country to allow more opportunities for the less privileged, especially for Benue Indigenes.” Prof. Ijohor said.
