The honourable Minister for Information and Culture, Mr. Lai Mohammed, has said President Mohammadu Buhari, will address Nigerians about Coronavirus and the steps taken by the government to prevent the spread of the pandemic in the country, at the appropriate time.

The Minister was responding to a question concerning calls by Nigerians and the National Assembly, on the need for the President to address the nation about the virus.

He advise Nigerians to be patient and follow the preventive measures already been issued by the relevant authorities about the virus.

“When it is appropriate, Mr President will address the nation. But, I think what you want to hear from Mr President are the kind of things we are telling you.

“This is not to preempt or second guess Mr. President, I think he will do the needful,” the Minister stated.
