Senate Suspends Public Hearing Over Coronavirus.

The Nigerian Senate has announced the partial closure of its services to members of the public to safeguard the National Assembly Complex from coronavirus.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan made this announcement during plenary after a one-hour closed door session.

Lawan said all forms of public hearing and excursion of students to the Senate have been suspended till further notice.
The Senate President further announced the closure of its gallery where journalists and members of the public, usually converge to observe plenary proceedings
