The Minister of Police Afairs, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi has stated that, recruitment of 10,000 constables into the Nigeria Police Force would soon commence. He disclosed this in Abuja during a book launch on Tuesday.
Muhammad said the recruitment would be in furtherance of the recruitment 40,000 in four years that was approved by President Buhari.
“As I speak now, training activities are ongoing in all our training institutions for the first batch of 10,000 recruits out of the 40,000 approved by the President, while arrangements are being made for the commencement of the next batch of 10,000 constables,” the Minister said.
The Minister while speaking at the launching of the book titled “Introduction to Law Enforcement:A Training Guid for the Nigeria Police Force,” commended the author of the book, retired DIG, Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi. He said that the book would be very useful to the Nigeria Police Force, especially for recruits.
