The House of Representatives has advised the Federal Government to announce a ban on open worship centres, public gatherings and gatherings at the airports till further notice.
The House gave this advice after a debate on motion under “Matters of Urgent Public Importance” at Wednesday’s plenary.
The House’s advice came in 2 hours after the Federal Government announced travel ban on 13 countries that have high cases of COVID-19.
The House also ordered a compulsory medical test for all staff of the National Assembly to ascertain their status. The House has also banned visitors from entering into the National Assembly.
