The Abia State Police Command in Umuahia, have arrested a 26 year old known as Chinazaekpere Uwadineke, in connection with the murder of her ex-boyfriends 6 months old child.The suspect stated that her ex lover never told her that he was married, as she went on aborting many pregnancies at the behest of her ex lover.The Police came in after receiving a hint about the incident. After which they issued a statement, saying, “A report was made that a six months old baby was missing and on investigation, it was discovered that the baby’s body was found dead in a gutter.

“It was made known to us that the culprit visited the compound of the deceased and found out that the mother left the child in the care of other older children.

“She went ahead to deceive the babysitter that the mother asked her to bring the child. The babysitter innocently handed the baby to her and along the line, we do not know what she did to the baby but the child was found dead in a gutter. We arrested the culprit and took the child away.”

The State Police Commissioner, Ene Okon confirmed to newsmen that the suspect, Chinazaekpere Uwadineke, has been apprehended and handed ok over to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation, after which she will be charged to court.
