Just In: Appeal Court to Hear Oshiomhole’s Case on Later Date.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, today put off the hearing of the appeal filed by embattled APC chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole

Last week, the court scheduled the hearing for today, only for the the panel of three justices, led by Justice Stephen Adah, to opt instead to hear other cases, when the two parties in Oshiomhole’s showed up today.

The panel later rose, assuring the two parties that another panel would be put in place to hear the case.

A female official of the court later addressed the anxious parties and the courtroom saying that a later date would be communicated to the two parties for the hearing of Oshiomhole’s case, much to the dismay of the parties.

Oshiomhole’s appeal is against an earlier judgment of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) which among others, restrained him acting as the National Chairman of the APC.

Oshiomhole and his supporters had been in court since around 8am today. And on his way out of the court, he told newsmen that he would await the decision of the court.
