The Niger State Police have arrested a man, Abdullahi Musa for pushing his wife to death.

The incident occurred in Tungan Bata village of Magama local government area of Niger state.

According our sources, 37 year old Musa had a serious argument with his deceased wife, Zainab Isah during which he pushed her down in anger.

Zainab’s neck snapped as she fell terribly to the ground, but was still conscious. However, on rushing her to the hospital, she died.

The case waa reported to the police by Abdullahi’s elder brother Tsah Musa, who feared his Junior brother might run away. The police later caught the perpetrator who confessed to the crime and said he had pushed her out of anger. Adding that he didn’t know that the push would result to her death.

ASP Wasiu Abiodun, the Niger State Police Public Relations Officer said the case has already been taken to court.
