The United Kingdom Health Minister, Nadine Dorries has tested positive for Coronavirus; the Minister disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday 10 March 2020.

“I can confirm I have been tested positive for Coronavirus…and I have been self-isolating at home,” she said.

The confirmation by the Minister has risen concerns of the possibility that other government officers might have been infected.

The Time reported that the infected Minister has been in contact with many top government officers, including the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

Nadine said that health officials were trying to trace where she contacted the virus.

Recall that six people have died from the virus and 370 confirmed cases in Britain.
