A second case of coronavirus in Nigeria has been confirmed in Edo State. This was disclosed by the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire in a press conference in Benin City.

The Minister said that the patient had contact with the Italian man who was first tested positive of the virus. ” It is my duty, therefore to announce a new case of coronavirus disease”.

He also said that the discovery was made possible through the advice by Nigeria Center for Disease Control to take samples of all the people that had contacts with the infected Italian man for testing.
