One of the Cement Trucks belonging to Dangote Group of Companies, had on Sunday ran over four persons from the same family at Gaida community in Kano metropolis, killing them all in the prpcess.

Mr. Abdullahi Haruna, the police spokesperson in Kano, confirmed the incident to news men.

According to the police spokesperson, the driver is on the run but the police have impounded the truck.

Muhammad Sagir, aged 40, was riding a motorcycle carrying his wife and three children, and three of them got crushed by the truck, leaving one of the children with serious injuries.

The four of them who died at the spot were taken to the Specialist Hospital while the only surviving child is currently responding to treatment at the hospital.
