A man by the name Samuel Nweke took his own life after a quarrel with his wife.

Mr. Nweke, 47, left home on the 25th of February after a falling out with his wife. And it was later discovered that he committed suicide in Awada, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The Police discovered a suicide note on the scene of the crime, which threw light on why he did it.

Haruna Mohammed, the Police Public Relations Officer said Nweke’s relatives have removed his body.

The PRO said, “Police detectives attached to Awada division visited the scene, cordoned off the area and photographed the victim after he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor. No marks of violence were seen on the victim’s body. Meanwhile, the Anambra State Commisioner of Police has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident.”
