Femi Kayode Doubts the Genuineness of Coronavirus Claim by Authorities in Nigeria

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that the alarm over coronavirus in Nigeria is a saga that “something doesn’t add up”.

He tweeted on his twitter handle thus, ” the Italian that brought coronavirus into Nigeria has not been named & his picture has not been released to the public.

“The driver that was alleged to have driven him to Abeokuta said he did not do so.

“The passengers on the plane in which he flew into Nigeria cannot be traced.

“The claim that he was an employee of a company & that he went to their office in Lagos after leaving the airport has proved to be false.

“Something doesn’t add up in this saga”.

“Finally the Lagos state Commissioner of Health went to see the Italian without wearing any protective gear.

It would be recalled that since the news about an Italian entering the country with coronavirus came to the public, members of the public kept insisting that the identity and photo of the Italian be made know to the public but to no avail.
