Benue Internal Revenue Services (BIRS) has said the agency is almost moving completely automated.

A statement off the facebook page of the agency this afternoon reads, “Moving closer to total automation, the Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), has begun its E-Tax Services.

“The introduction of the E-Tax Service is to ensure ease and convenience in the accessibility to tax services.

“In furtherance of its effective implementation staff of the Board were today trained in the use of the revenue house management.

“The Revenue House Manager will, make it possible for tax payers to process direct assessment, tax audit, collect reports, tax registration etc”

The statement concluded by advising tax payers who intend to access the service to log on to http://www.birs.gov.ng.
