The Ekiti State House of Assembly had on Friday passed into Law Ekiti State Security Operation Agency, Operation Amotekun into law, leading the way for the states in the South West region.

The House, at its preliminary, before the passage, adopted the report of House Committee on Security and Special Duties after Thursday’s public hearing on the bill.

With this development, the regional security outfit has the state’s legal backing and support towards it’s creation.
